A modern take on classic, with a tailored wavy welcome Sign
Taking place at the beautiful Huntsmill Farm in Buckinghamshire, this dreamy styled wedding shoot was to die for. The concept was ‘Winter Sky’ and was expertly planned and styled by Flamingo and Fern, who exclusively used sustainable wedding suppliers for the shoot. Which I of course loved! The brief read that the vibe would be ‘a modern take on classic’ and it was most certainly that and more, with beautiful hues of whites, greens, and hints of beige and toffees.
I am just obsessed with the dress, created by Rolling in Roses – a UK based, award winning luxury bridal designer, who specialises in ethical, sustainable slow fashion. What’s not to love?!
We kept it simple and classic for the flat lays, using the timeless Aurelia collection, which was beautifully captured by photographer Marcus Rice. For the details, we added a luxury envelope in the shade ‘buttermilk’ and adorned it with a white botanical wax seal to tie into the beautiful florals by Love at First Sight Floristry. This looked so pretty alongside the most gorgeous handcrafted jewellery by Debbie Carlisle.
The stunning models, real life couple, The Gordons jumped into a Vintage Triumph car and explored the picturesque grounds surrounding the Farm. Meanwhile, back in the barn, the tablescapes were set, adorned with flowing dreamy white drapes, beautiful linens and menus from the Aurelia collection.
For a modern twist on the welcome sign, we chose a light soft toffee colour and added a beautiful wavy edge. A little tailored twist on the traditional Aurelia collection design to make it extra special, something that can be done to any designs within my collections.
It was a beautiful day and truly a pleasure to work with so many talented wedding suppliers who have sustainability and design at the heart of what they do.
