Vintage Woodland Jewel Styled Wedding Shoot

vintage romance

WITH BEAUTIFUl jewel tones and elegant wild blooms

Dark, jewel toned blooms and a beautiful vintage vibe set the tone for this incredible styled wedding shoot at Brickhouse Vineyard in Devon. And what a beauty it is! The brains behind the concept was Alice from From the Wild Florist, who designed the shoot to showcase the stunning floral artistry of her students, who spent the days before creating these masterpieces to put on display. The vision was a 1920’s Woodland Jewel Wedding which incorporated stunning autumnal gemstone colours of ruby, sapphire, emerald, onyx and amethyst.

The shoot was beautifully captured by photographer Luka Chitty who highlighted the stunning models in their elegant vintage gowns from Dandelions and Pearls and Days of Grace Vintage. There were three different bridal looks throughout the day, created by a dream team of hair by Natalie Nichols Bridal and Makeup by Zoe L, beginning with a softer ethereal look in the day and ending up with a full glamour evening look. Just beautiful.

For the stationery and signage we decided to go with the Mono collection, as the monochrome aesthetic of this range complimented the dark, jewel colours perfectly in an understated way. The typography of Mono also has a timeless, classic vibe which worked really well with the vintage feel and we added bespoke teal wax seals to embellish the invitation suite and highlight those vivid gemstone hues.

The attention to detail of the day was outstanding, including the two gorgeous vegan cakes (yes two!) which were handcrafted by Blossom and Bee Bakehouse. The red brick roundhouse and autumnal grape vines at Brickhouse Vineyard provided the perfect setting for this dream team to come together and collaborate on this styled wedding shoot. I was so pleased to see it featured in Wed Magazine too!
