To help with any queries you may have, here’s some frequently asked questions.

wedding stationery

There is a minimum order of 30 for personalised printed items like invitations, save the dates, etc and a minimum order of 2 for A5 card signage.

I mainly use luxury silk matte card (350gsm) for things like invitations, RSVP cards, detail cards, save the dates, A5 signs, etc. This card is made from recycled paper with 100% PCW fibres in a chlorine-free process. All materials are non-mutagenic, carcinogenic or reprotoxic and is fully recyclable. As this is recycled paper, sometimes there can be very tiny flecks in it.

I do use other papers and vellum, all of which are fully recyclable. If you’d like to know more about a certain paper, please get in touch and I’ll be happy to answer any questions you may have.

A1 and A0 Signs are made using recycled wood pulp and are recyclable. 100% fibre-based, this wood pulp board has an off-white core, with a bright white surface on both sides for a vibrant print finish.

Yes, I am happy to make small changes to a collection to suit your requirements for free, including colour and wording, as long as it doesn’t impact the design layout. I can tweak the layout of a collection if you like, for example to suit a different shape, but will quote this depending on your requirements.

Yes, absolutely. If you like my style and would like something specific then we can go through your ideas together and create something unique. Prices for bespoke orders start at £100 and I will send you a personalised quote depending on your design requirements.

Yes, you can order white envelopes for your invitations and RSVP cards. They are 100gsm and are available in sizes C5 (fits A5) and C6 (fits A6). If you need something a little bit different, for example thicker paper or colour, then I can give you a personalised quote.

Yes, you can order non-personalised sample packs of the collections by filling out my contact form or on my Etsy page.  See what’s included in sample packs here.

What’s more, if you go on to order your personalised stationery after buying a sample, I’ll deduct the sample price from your final bill!

You can see the sizing and dimensions details for my collections either on each collection page or on the price list page underneath each item. If you would like a specific size not available already, please enquire and I’ll give you a personalised quote.

Of course, if you need a specific sign for your wedding day then I am happy to help. Cake signs, sweet cart, cocktail menus, unplugged ceremony signs… anything. I love getting creative with these, the more fun, the better! Let me know what you’re looking for and I’ll make you something unique and matching your other stationery too, of course!

ordering

I recommend ordering as early as possible to ensure I can fit you in my diary, especially if your wedding is during peak times. You can always save your date with me by booking in ahead of time. I will then contact you nearer to your wedding day to get any relevant information needed for your stationery.

Recommended key dates for your stationery planning:

Just got engaged – time to start thinking about ordering your bridesmaid proposal cards

Booked your venue (12 months+ to go) – time to think about ordering your save the dates. If you have a peak season wedding or people travelling from abroad then send them out as soon as you can.

4-6 months to go – time to order your invitation suites (invites, RSVP cards, detail cards, etc.)

2-3 months to go – time to order your ‘on the day’ stationery (signage, menus, place cards, etc.) Don’t forget your ‘to my bride/groom on our wedding day’ cards!

1-2 months after wedding – order and send your thank you cards

Current estimates for turnaround times are around 4-8 weeks for items ordered from the collections. This may vary dependent on the time of year and how many adjustments you require during the proofing stage. Bespoke orders will vary dependent on what is required and my diary availability.

The deadline for us receiving the information needed to complete your stationery (e.g. timings, spellings, details) is a minimum of 6 weeks before collection/delivery date/postal dispatch (unless agreed otherwise prior to this date). Your designs must be approved by you by a minimum of 4 weeks before the collection/delivery/postal dispatch date. Any delay by yourself in doing either of these, may result in delays in being able to complete your order on time, so it’s worth bearing this in mind.

You can order by filling out my contact form and letting me know what you’d like.

From this, I will generate your personalised quote and a 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your order/date and start the design process. The full balance is due once designs have been approved before going to print, or no later than one month before dispatch/collection date.

Payments are made by BACS (bank transfer).

Yes! The amount will depend on how much you order, so please mention this when ordering/enquiring and I’ll give you your personalised discount.

Absolutely! After you have secured your order, by paying your deposit, I will design your stationery for you. When your proofs are ready, they will be emailed to you for approval before going to print when we are both happy with the design.

As a rule, I would recommend ordering 5-10 extra items, just in case some get lost in the post or you decide to invite a few more people nearer the time.

Don’t forget, you only need one invite/rsvp card/detail card/save the date per family or couple.
