With champagne, oysters and a bespoke venue illustration

Grace and Shamin’s wedding took place in the summer, at the stunning Deer Park Country House in Devon. So many elegant details featured in their wedding day, which were captured beautifully by photographer Studio Westlake. From a bespoke venue illustration on their wedding invites, to champagne and oysters on the lawns. When the photos look like they could grace the cover of Vogue magazine, how could I not share them with you?!

Grace and Shamin chose an elegant black and white aesthetic for their wedding, with a modern touch of luxury thrown in for good measure. For their wedding stationery, they stayed true to the brief and opted for wedding invitations from the Nova collection and added a bespoke venue illustration of Deer Park’s beautiful country house in an elegant minimal line drawing design.

Phoebe from Elisabeth Shell Events was the stylist and coordinator for the day and did an amazing job dressing the venue. Simplistic white and green florals by Emma Hewlett adorned the house and gardens and were displayed beautifully alongside black and white lanterns and stands from Glas Events. The venue illustration was echoed onto their welcome sign too, also from the Nova collection, which was displayed on our minimal black sign frame.

The ceremony took place outside in the stunning gardens and was expertly conducted by celebrant Fan from Fanfare Ceremonies, who writes beautiful, personalised readings for her couples. After the ‘I do’s’ were pronounced, Grace and Shamin enjoyed champagne and oysters in the gardens with their loved ones whilst being serenaded by a harpist. The setting was absolutely stunning and the gardens could quite easily have been mistaken for an Italian villa. They even boast their own orangery – how dreamy!

Inside, the wedding breakfast set up continued to delight, with more monochrome elegance! Long tables were dressed with white blooms and black details, including minimalist place cards from the Nova collection. Guests were greeted and shown to their seats with a beautiful personalised seating plan, which also hung elegantly on our black sign frame.

The celebrations continued into the small hours with speeches, dancing and feasting on the gorgeous cake created by talented designer Claire Arscott. And I’m obsessed with Grace’s short evening dress look. Iconic!
